Mobile I’ve heard something about an interactive wand for Universal...

Please can anyone enlighten me further?

You can buy wands at universal and then use them to interact with various scenes around the two Harry potters lands. They are a little bit tricky to start with but my daughter got the hang of it and really enjoyed them.

Harry Potter interactive wand. They are really good, there are scenes in the windows in various parts of the Harry Potter lands. You stand in a certain spot and follow the instructions for that spell, then the scene does some magic! Our DS loves it. The shop will also ‘repair’ your wand for free if it breaks

Thank you! How much are they? Would children need one each or is one per family fine?

They are about $50. One each or one per family will depend on your kids . My youngest bought hers with her own money. the eldest didn’t want to spend her money and was old enough to accept that meant she didn’t get a go.

We bought one in 2017 and both dd's loved using it! Does anyone know if it will still work when we go back next year?

I'm wondering this as well, we also got ours in 2017. Wonder if they will 'repair' them if they don't work?

Actually just read something that says they don't have a battery. It's the tip that reflects with the sensor.
I know DS had to get his 'repaired' same day we got it, they were really good. Think he had bashed it the way 4 year olds do. A staff member was trying to help him do a spell, realised it was the tip that was broken so directed us to the shop to get it repaired.
