Florida 2019 - it‘s here at last - Day 19

Today involved a really long, lazy day on the beach, for our last full day. Up sharp, toast for breakfast and off we went. $15 for 2 beds and we were settled for the day. I read for a while then dosed a bit, and just completely relaxed. There was a good breeze by the sea so it was a comfortable heat. We were well sun creamed up.

Around 1.30 we crossed back over Gulf Blvd and had some lunch, trying to use up the supplies we had left. Then it was more sun cream and back to our spot on the beach.

The bed guy finished at 5.00 so that was our time in the sun done for the day. We headed for home and started packing. I'd booked an extra case for the return journey luckily. I don't think we realised how much we've bought.

We had a couple of drinks while we got ready to head out for dinner. There were Halloween parties in lots of the bats, we'd already decided to continue with the relaxing theme and opted for the Daquiri Shak for dinner and party. It was only around the corner so suited.

There was a kind of punk/rock live band on. They were dreadful. We had nice food and a few cocktails before heading home.
