Dublin and Amex Lounge Pass or Dragonpass

I've a flight from T1 in Dublin in two weeks time, and then from T2 in May and I was hoping to use my Amex Gold Lounge Pass card. However, we were told we couldn't use it last year on the way to Florida at the pre clearance lounge as it wasn't accepted. I emailed the airport yesterday to check if we could use it at T1, or indeed any lounge, and they came back to say I couldn't use it

I don't know if I'm doing something wrong, but when I used the Amex lounge checker it's showing that I should be able to use it there! Has anyone had any luck with using it?

Our trip in two weeks is for a 30th birthday so I had thought using the lounge would have been a nice extra. I discovered an offer with the telegraph yesterday with Dragonpass to get two e-vouchers for the lounge for �20 each, but to be honest, I'm not completely sure how this pass works... can anyone give me any advice?

T1 and T2 Lounges are accepted but The East Lounge and 51st and Green are not accepted.

The lounges are separately run, so emailing the airport wont help as they really dont know. Just go to the lounge with your card and they will swipe it.

Ah great! I'll not book anything in advance and just go and see what happens, and pay when we get there if needs be.

Since I've never managed to use it before, can I check if they only let in so many people at the one time, and if there's a time limit on how long you can be there for?
