upgrading kid to adult qsdp - knock on?

Am intending to pay the £20 to upgrade our 9yr old to adult qsdp when we go in May with free dining, but am also thinking of booking the Fantasmic Dessert Party (in order to get decent seats mostly). However if we upgrade her and then her ticket is changed to an adult one does this mean we will have to pay for her as an adult on the dessert party, incurring more cost? - she'd be happy with the kids desserts.
Am waiting to book the dessert party til we arrive so we can use the giftcard we got with booking to pay for it.

Dessert party is $19 for children aged 3 to 9, so long as yours are of those ages then that is what you pay. That you have bought an adult park ticket is not relevant.

Are you sure about that, I never gave it a second thought when we upgraded our 5 yr old , and we want mnsshp tickets so will be needing to know about those too

I do not have first hand experience as I do not have a 3-9 year old. But logically, if they are offering a price for children in a particular age range and your child is in that age range, I can see no reason why you would be forced to pay more. You obviously have the child's passport and can easily prove age.

I've upgraded my 8-year-olds to adult DDP. I've just gone to do a dummy run booking for the dessert party and it's charging them at kids' prices. Not $19 though.

It says $19 including tax on the website, what are you being charged?

Ignore me. I clearly can't read that the OP is asking about the Fantasmic Party, not the MK one

OP, yes the kids are still being charged at the child rate
