Quick update. Checked my account this morning and I had been charged for overnight parking last night. Called guest services who say they will remove.

Well they removed it, but I've checked again and they charged me for last night too (and I'm guessing tonight).
Disney need to find a proper way of charging if people have a car. |

Not good enough is it. Of course if you go to the front desk and see a Manager they will comp you a gift card to get rid of you as that seems to be their answer to problems. Whereas they should be dealing with the core issue not the fallout from a poor system.
Best of luck resolving it.

This could be fun when we go in May, having 2 one day car hires for shopping, but will be wanting to drop shopping to resort, before off hiring car.
Best keep the off hire slip safe... |

Sorry to jump in
We are booked at the Beach Club in September and will have a car for the duration of our stay - so no problem there, we are also hiring a car for a few days in the middle of our stay for my son from the CCC, when we get back to the hotel we would go through the automatic barrier and now have 2 cars in the car park. Is the onus on us to go to reception and advise them that for these few days we will have 2 cars - how else would they police it? Thanks

Yes. Disney's system at the moment means they charge for the full stay (daily) until you tell them a few times.
I've told them twice as twice they've removed the charges but now I have to tell them again. I don't want to miss a reservation this morning so I guess I'll have to walk an extra mile or so after the parks to complain. Cheers Disney. |
