dodge caravan or Chrysler Pacifica

hey guys, just looking for opinions, we are hiring 2 7seater minivans from Avis for 3 weeks this coming May... we have hired dodge caravans in the past but was wondering whats peoples views on the Chrysler, both cars will have 6 and 5 people in each car with luggage .

The Pacifica is a much better vehicle and if you pop into the sticky above you will see photos and comments ref them

Sadly they aren't that common in the rental garage as they are more expensive to buy.

Pacifica everytime, we've had them when there was 4 adults and 1 child and 4 adults and 2 children.Very comfortable and we all fitted with a lot of luggage,a bit of luggage Tetris on the way to the airport 😁

sorry for being such a newbie... but what is a sticky? on my reservation form it says Chrysler pacifica or similar... where we had wanted a dodge lol thanks so much for your reply

wow that's some achievement getting all that luggage and people into the car. its a very nice car...just a stickler for what we know lol

Hi. When you go into the car forum you see a yellow banner at the top containing adverts. Below this are some greyed out posts. These are called stickies.
One is post your car pictures. That’s where you can see what Dibbers had if they post them.
A good overview of cars and vans. Worth a look.

Last trip in September, while Melvin was at the desk I was on the hunt for a Pacifica and managed to get the only one in the line.

Dodge is alright but if there is a Pacifica, go for it.

Had a pacifica in November with 180 miles on the clock.

Drives a lot more like a car than the caravan does, also the gear circle if a lot less clumsy then the caravans next to wheel stick and low down foot parking break.
