Agreed. We worked out it wasn't worth it for the rest of the family for that reason. I upgraded mine as I was visiting twice and the second time we will have a car but it was very close to the same price even factoring in discounts on purchases.

We upgraded in December from 14 day Ultimates to APS (no water parks) and paid $547.47 each including tax. It was worth it for us as we are doing 3 trips and will save on the parking fees as we stay off site.

We upgraded in October and it only made it worthwhile as we were going three times. We worked it out that you need 2.5 holidays to make it worth while. In fairness though we have saved near £100 in parking on our last visit alone

Thanks for all this detail. We don’t usually drive so parking costs are not part of the calculation. I wonder if hotel room discounts would be a factor for us ... ? ...
