Mobile BA fly drive

Confused as owt trying to work out what I get with this fly drive.

I chose a Ford Escape equivalent.

What I don’t understand is what I need to add on extra

With virgin the website is easier and I know I need two drivers and two car seats. Everything else like the tank empty and the nav doesn’t make any difference.

Trying to price up for Christmas and ba flights seem to look good.

You will need to add the car seats but I would check with BA on that, the second driver is free if you are in the BA executive club .. you can join and don’t need to be bronze etc to get the free driver.
Fuel you can discuss at the desk we usually take ours back full .

We use BA fly drive all the time, it comes with all insurances, no need to buy anymore, if you join BA Executive and Avis Preferred which are both free, it will also give you the extra driver free, you can choose to pay for a tank of fuel, we never bother it just means we have to fill up on the way back to the airport but at least you aren't paying a premium price for fuel.

To be fair to Avis the last couple of times the price we paid for gas per gallon at MCO ended up actually cheaper than the pump prices local to WDW.

It lets me add two onto the website and doesn’t adjust the prices. I always worry about this

With the BA fly drive, if you add car seats they charge you at the desk when you arrive. I would take your own

We always took our own car seats. Depending on the age of your children, if they need boosters, we took them with us and left them behind. When they were a bit younger we took the high back seats which you can use with an integral harness or the car seat belt. I found buying a cheap one in the UK was cheaper than hiring one in Florida. When they were very small we took their own seats and brought them home. The airlines carry them for free. I always wanted my own seats as I don’t know how clean the hire ones are.
