Have I made a mistake?

I have booked a balcony cabin on Harmony of the Seas for next November. There are four of us travelling. Myself, my wife and 2 sons (14 and 20). Looking at the room layout, I am wondering if it is going to be a bit cramped?

Should I book 2 inside cabins for the same price or should I pay an extra £400 for another balcony room? Or will my current choice of room be ok? I imagine we wont be in our cabin much but don't want to be cramped.

Does anyone know the charge to amend my booking with Royal Carribbean? I booked it yesterday.

We never spend much time in our cabin and so always book an inside.
If you can get two insides for the price of a balcony then that would be my choice. Two bathrooms, more space, more privacy. JMO!😎

I'd agree .. 2 rooms, double space and more privacy.

For views and fresh air, that's what decks are for!

More important thing is two bathrooms !

A different view to some from from, the sons and DH can use the showers in the gym etc leaving you to use the bathroom for getting ready.
We always found we got changed at different times, depending on who wanted to do what, e.g. drink or show before dinner or after, i like the early evening sun by the pool with a cocktail, so would often let others get showered and changed first.
From the age of your sons think you'll be getting up in the morning at different times too, so no queue for bathroom.

We love having our own outside space.

Waking up and watching the Statue of Liberty sail past from my bed was amazing !

We always book two cabins. Balcony for us and an inside (opposite ours) for the girls. Works out really well for DH. Three females wanting one bathroom is not an ideal scenario

Two interconnecting inside cabins for us - plenty of space for everyone and a bit of privacy for all.

Have had outside and balcony cabins but genuinely prefer the above now.

Reading this thread has got me worrying too ! Booked a promenade cabin for 4 and I knew it would be a squeeze but I am now concerned it will be so tight it will spoil the holiday. Hope you don't think me cheeky but how much extra did you pay for booking a second cabin instead of the 4 if you in one.
