LE Cellier
Just wondering what people think of this restaurant; the food and the atmosphere?
Many thanks!

I might be in the minority but I wasn't over impressed and don't think it's worth 2 credits.
I food was okay but I found the restaurant dark and cramped (yes I know it's supposed to resemble a cellar 😜😂 I think, if you're on the DDP then spend your 2 credits elsewhere.

We enjoyed the food, but as the previous post we found it very cramped

We really enjoyed it here. It is quite dark and he tables are close together but I thought it added nicely to the atmosphere and didn't feel too squashed once we were at our table. The food was all delicious, we would definitely go again.

We love Le cellier. We go every trip and although the tables are very close together we always enjoy our meal.

I have eaten here for the past three times we have visited.
The first meal we had here was really good. The service and food were excellent. The last meal we had was a bit of a disappointment however, Whilst the food was still good we found the extra wait of 45mins for our table (after our ADR time) wasn't acceptable and when we finally did get to our table, our server to be a bit on the 'wooden' side. I didnt really warm to here at all, It was like she was recommending things that she was told to say not what she actually thought. It was also just ridiculously busy which it always is. I would recommend it if you have never eaten here before though. The filet mignon is incredible. We are giving it a miss on this trip and eating at Monsieur Paul as our EPCOT signature this time.

We also love Le Cellier and have been every trip. Never had a bad meal, although it is getting expensive. 😀

I agree 100%
The tables were so close together it felt as though we were dining with the people sat next to us. They weren't particularly loud but I could hear every bit of their conversation. This in turn made me conscious that they too could hear ours (not that it was anything too exciting).

Tables are close together but that really doesn't bother me. I'll chat to anybody. I'd go here just for the Canadian Cheddar Cheese Soup alone. The steaks are great and I just love the "Moose" dessert:
Pricewise - rib eye $54 (£44.25) at Le Cellier - London £38. It's Disney and they have a captive audience! Edited at 02:50 PM. |

We paid out of pocket and didn't think it was worth it. It was a little bit like a perfect storm were lots of minor things add up.
We had a short wait after our ADR time and the waiting area was very crowded. Inside we thought the tables were far too close together; we were rubbing elbows with the people on the next table and heard every word of their conversation and it was difficult to ignore the kids squeezing through the seating area (shouting) instead of walking around. The food wasn't the best we had, it was too dark for me to see what I was eating but DD and DH could see. After waiting years to persuade DH to go I wouldn't bother again. |
