I'm doing this on my first day because I know I'll be awake at stupid o'clock! Haven't done breakfast here before so am interested to see what it's like. Have enjoyed lunch and dinner though.

Is it definitely a given you're awake so early on your first day? I plan on doing early ADR here too because of all the advice I've read on here and there's a little niggle in me thinking, what if I have wake/force everyone up? Lol

Funny reading this. In the past, travelling with the kids, always up silly o'clock. Last year no kids, didn't wake up till 7.30. Oops! Luckily no ADR, family weren't arriving for a few days. This year, just us again, but BOG ADR booked for 8.05, told DH better set the alarm just in case

Well I'll have a very excited 8yr old so I'm sure he'll wake us and the sleepy 14yr old up if we're not already!

BOG is a great choice for a first day. We have picked it this year (8am adr) as we know we will be awake early, and as the only breakfast ADR we make with no characters it's perfect as it means our toddlers have more time to adjust to them before our first character breakfast.

Last year we did Tusker House on our first morning, and our then 2 year old struggled somewhat. BOG should seem special enough to her this time, without overpowering

Ah! the Royal Rooms - probably my favourite rooms in any Disney Resort. Enjoy.
