Margaritaville Resort

Since our May trip was cancelled I have been looking ahead to next year, possibly May or Sept if restrictions have eased. Most of our previous trips have been in villas but more recently we’ve stayed at Floridays and Vistana Villages near LBV. While searching yesterday I found a good price for Margaritaville Resort and would be interested to hear from people who have stayed there either in the main hotel or in the Cottages. We don’t know the area at all but there seem to be lots of restaurants and shops nearby and also fairly close to Disney.

Yes it's a stones throw from Animal Kingdom if you have a car. The video tours of that I've seen of the hotel, water park and shopping areas have looked very appealing. We're thinking of staying there too.

The cottages look nice but as it’s just me and DH on the next trip we may just book a hotel room instead.

It is a fantastic location if you want to be able to walk to restaurants. It is one of the few off site places I would stay without a car if I wanted to do Disney and have a choice of restaurants.

It is next to the restaurants at Rolling Oaks and the new Sunset Walk is even closer as it is directly in front of the hotel.

Not stayed at the Orlando one but at Hollywood Beach. The hotel was gorgeous and we loved the decor and high standard of cleaning. As others have said the location of the Orlando one is fantastic.

We had to drive past it to get to the 192 from our villa, you can probably be in Animal Kingdom parking lot in about 5 minutes from there. Loads of restaurants, shops and mini golfs on the 192 nearby, as well as restaurants and shops in the Margaritaville area

Lots of positives on location then, just need them to lift the travel restrictions now.
