Question Park-hotel transfer staying at Universal Hotel/ Breakfast?

Hi,

Just booked 3 nights at Universal Cabana Bay Beach Resort. Never stayed on Universal property before, this may be stupid questions but just checking about the park-hotel bus/coach pick ups and another question about breakfast.

Are the buses waiting right outside the parks at universal (like Disney do) to get you back to your hotel? Are they regular like at Disney?

Also I haven’t booked breakfast at the hotel so does anyone know of the best places to get breakfast at Universal each morning?

We're staying at RPR so I think we're close enough to walk, someone has said there is a Tuk Tuk shop that does yogurts, pastries, bagels etc, but then there are also places like Cinnabon and Starbucks just before you go into the parks .

Looking at Google maps, cabana bay is a mile away from the entrance to the parks

Buses are right outside Ike Disney and very regular. CB has a brilliant food court for breakfast and all other meals too.

So you don’t have to pre-book breakfast to use the food court?

Re: walking. You should, I believe, be able to cross the road - there is a crossing (I think) just outside CB which takes you to Sapphire Falls and then you can walk from there. It’s about 15-20 minutes. Alternatively, there are very regular free buses that take you to Citywalk from right outside CB.

We stayed here and loved it. Buses are very regular, once we walked back took 20 mins as we didn't cross the road we used the bridge, and once we took the boat back to Sapphire Falls and walked from there. Never used the food hall but we did use Starbucks a couple of times.
