We have 3 dogs and 3 cats and the dogs all have names inspired by Disney

This is Finn Kenobi - named by my eldest son after the 2 characters from Star Wars

This is Elvis — he was named by my youngest son and although he may not seem to have had a particularly Disney name he was in fact inspired by his favourite Disney movie, Lilo and Stitch! We had previously had a cat named Stitch so that name was out

Finally we have Piper - not very Disney yet HOWEVER the kids, who were 3 and 6 at the time, did not just name her Piper. They did in fact name her Piper Idina Menzel Willow! They fell in love with Idina thanks to, of course, Frozen and she is now my eldest sons best friend — however ironically the dog that has actually appeared on stage with her is not her name sake but in fact Mr Finn Kenobi who she said is the first dog to ever appear on stage with her!

Who else has Disney themed pet names? I’m guessing there are at least a few Simba and Nalas on the dibb

Belle and Fawn, we all know Belle but Fawn is one of tinkerbelles fairies.

Not Disney but Sesame street, Bert better known as Bertie because I can't bring myself to shout bert when I am calling him in 😊

Piper is actually the name of a Pixar short, it’s a really sweet clip, my cat loves to watch it! So she is more Disney than you realised

You are absolutely right - I forgot about that short. It came out after Piper was named though so I couldn’t claim the link anyway. Pipers name in fact came from 3 places, the character Piper from the TV show Charmed that sort of brought my husband and I together, Billie Piper because my children love Doctor Who and it’s also the name of Gillian Anderson’s daughter and the first conversation my husband and I had was in fact about Gillian Anderson

This is Simba, he is a very brave cat as he was shot in the eye when he was younger and only has sight in one eye. He is now an indoor cat who loves my DD, who nursed him back to health after his accident 💕
