We have just come back from the cinema! We took snacks in from asda and nobody seemed bothered. The family one side of me had pringles, cans of fizzy and sweets, didnt annoy anybody. However, the mum of the family to the other side of us was on her phone for the entire movie - that was so irritating.

I think the snacks are all part of the cinema experience it’s the people on their phones that annoy me x

A few years back we were in the Everyman in Leeds and I was sharing a bag of sweets I had brought in with hubby and son. A staff member came along, said I wasn't allowed to have them and took them away! She did say I could collect them after the film but there was only a couple left by then. Have to say I was speechless!
I do realise I shouldn't have brought them in but I refuse to pay the mark up in the cinema.

Many many years ago me and my mates after a night in the pub thought it a good idea to try and take a case of 24 Stella into the showcase for a midnight showing of Days of Thunder. Needless to say it was confiscated and given back to us at the end.

They took it in good part and laughed about it with us.

I’m always smuggling sweets into Everyman

I don't go to the cinema anymore simply because of rude people making noise and eating very loudly, totally refuse to pay the price to not be able to watch in peace, watch at home now
