Disney 14-21 Day Ticket

We are going for 4 weeks next year and I'm in a real pickle as to what tickets to get.
the 14 day 3 park Universal ticket is a given, but I can't decide on either a 14 or 21 day Disney ticket.

I certainly don't plan to use 21 days in Disney, so the 14 day will work for what we need but the appeal of a extras week of flexibility is a nice option to have.

The difference in price is about £200 (£50 per person)

So the question I have is, can you upgrade your 14 day ticket to a 21 day ticket whilst out there or is the only upgrade option a Annual Pass.

Also if someone could just make a decision for me, that would also be great

Hi, we had the same dilemma as we are going for a month next year. I drafted a rough plan on an excel spreadsheet showing each day, factoring in universal/IOA/VB/HH and trips to celebration, airboat rides and lake apopka etc so I could see if we would need the flexibility of an extra week. The first 5 days we are at CSR then 3 and a bit weeks in a villa.

The answer for us was yes, we went for the 21 day as it meant we wouldnt get disney'ed out by cramming in too much disney in the first 14 days and could still have the odd afternoon/evening there mixing in with time at universal.

Happy to share a copy if our rough plan so you can see what I mean, obviously the plan will change closer to the time dependant on EMH and HH dates etc.

You cannot upgrade a 14 to a 21, only to an AP. I think given that it's "only" £50 each I would choose that especially when you think a single day ticket, if you wanted to go, will set you back +$100!

I'll make the decision for you,
Get the 21 day ticket. For £200 all in it will give you loads more flexibility. You're welcome

We are doing 26 nights next year and will be doing the same

If you're getting the Disney 21 Day Ultimate ticket have a look on orlandoattractiontickets.co.uk I think they're about the cheapest at the moment, £461 adult, £439 child using the code mse5. Link below.

They're also about the cheapest for the adult Disney 14 Day Ultimate ticket £424 using the code mse5. travelrepublic.co.uk are cheaper for the child ticket at the moment £406 compared to £410 from orlandoattractiontickets.co.uk using the code mse5. Link below.

We had a similar dilemma, albeit we already have 21 day but we are there for 31 nights. The original plan was to upgrade to an AP but with the recent massive hike that was a non starter & seemed pointless for what would probably be only 2 days visiting in that last week. We opted for a 1 day pass at an eye watering $240 for 2 but a 2 day was $440 & we have UAP & SW passes so it's not like we have nowhere to go

£50 per person?

For 2020, the difference in price between a 21-day Disney ticket and a 14-day Disney tickets is £20 per person. At least, it is on Disney's website.

I would look elsewhere if the difference is £50.

That includes the saving made by buying a combo Universal ticket and a 14 day Disney.

TBh I'm surprised that the saving on a Combo is as much as £30/person,all a "Combo" is, is the 2 passes put together -it's totally separate companies eg ATD Combo saving is £6/person compared to buying the passes separately
