Can a child enter WDW on adult ticket?
Hi,
We have ended up with an adult ticket for our 3.5 year old. (Don’t ask). Will he be ok using it? I imagine as it is the more expensive of the two tickets he should be fine, but not 100%. Thanks

Yes, it will be fine. A lot of people who book free dining upgrade their children's tickets to adult ones so they can get the adult dining credits. They might ask when he first enters and activates the tickets, so just explain, and then after that you shouldn't need to again.

They will ask when you activate the ticket is because a parent will need to add their finger print to the child ticket in this instance, and then they will question it in the event youve incorrectly assigned one of your adult tickets to the child in error.
Once they have done their thing, you will be good to go in future.

Would it need a parent finger print? My daughter last year did her own finger print for the ticket. She felt like a big girl doing it.

Thanks for that.
We don’t really have an excuse to offer the cast member except: we were bought the tickets as a gift and they got 3 x adult instead of 2 x adult and 1 x child. |

Like you say it’s the more expensive of the two so I’m sure it won’t be a problem! The guest services are usually very helpful anyways
