I decided to down tools last week and head up to Blackpool for a few days. They have a big Wetherspoons up there called The Velvet Coaster. I was sat on a row of tables just opposite the bar browsing on my pad as you do. I noticed twice about an hour apart two different staff members cleaning all the handles on the doors, stair rails and the input machines for the debit cards and tills etc. Spraying some kind of cleaner. I stopped a staff member and said, cleaning because of Coronovirus and she said yes. Every hour they basically clean the areas most likely to be touched by a number of customers. Such as door handles etc. Even the toilets were being done.

I have to admit it took my by surprise but at the same time I thought it was a really good and proactive thing to do. I am surprised Disney don't do something similar.

I of course realise it's a much bigger monster etc.
DLP have increased cleaning, added antibac gel to all toilets and food locations, reduced face character meet and greets and asked CM's not to take photos using guests phones. I'm sure there's more behind the scenes measures too.

Actually I didn't see antibac in all toilets. I saw an empty container in one toilet but I used soap and (freezing cold) water. They have plenty of antibac on sale in the shops at the tills.

What is a face character meet and greet? Do you mean like the Princesses rather than MM?

What I find shocking is it takes this for restaurants to clean correctly!
