Changing August holiday with VH

Just wondering if I decide to change dates to August 2020 can I change to different hotel with free ddp (if it goes on sale).

Have you got free dining with your original booking? If so they should honour it for dates this year up until 3rd October, as long as the hotel/room type was included in the original free dining offer.
If you want to change your booking to 2021 you need to wait and see if they offer free dining for the dates you want, rumour is the 2021 free dining announcement should later this week.

Just realised looking at your countdown, you are already gong in August 2020, did you mean you want to move it to August 2021?

Hi, I have been in touch with VH as we are due to travel on 5th July and the balance is due next week...we had paid the deposit + £3k already and I was concerned what would happen to the additional £3k if we didn't decide what we were doing prior to the balance being due.

We are thinking that we want to change our holiday to July 2021, they said that we could do this for £50 pp amendment fee + any difference in the holiday cost - I am under the impression that we could change hotel if we wanted to.

We had such a good deal for July this year that I don't think they will be able to match for 2021 but it is interesting to read that free DDP maybe announced soon for 2021 so may hold off a few more days.

My original booking is for 10 nights Cabana Bay 5 nights All Sports. I’ve no Disney plan.

With the costs they are advertising now for the same dates for us next year 19th august, it's going to cost us nearly £1500 more! We have paid £2200 ontop of the deposit with £900 left to pay. No way we can warrant over £1500 extra

I'm in the same position. We've booked with TUI for this August and I want to change to next August providing they release the DDP.Hoping the price isn't too extortionate!.
