Looking to re book for mid October, was supposed to go April 3rd, waiting on my travel insurer to say if they’ll let me change dates, if they don’t I won’t rebook because there is no chance of getting insurance otherwise

Edited at 03:24 PM. Reason: Wrong month

We’ve had a refund from BA for our trip in April for Boston & Chicago want to rebook for half term end of October, just waiting to see if Hubbie still has a firm to work for first, might book in June 🤞😉

We're supposed to be going May 8th but we know this isn't going to happen now, so when we get the option to move dates from Virgin and Disney, we're going to try for Sept/Oct. Like everyone has said though, its highly likely that things won't be back to normal but hopefully we can see some normality start creeping back in through summer!

We were hoping to do last 2 weeks of October. deposits paid but to be honest im getting more and more nervous by the day. Not even about the money but would hate to end up in a different country on a lockdown or worse sick.
Very hard to know what to do. Will parks be the same? Will there be too many restrictions to make them enjoyable ? Will Trump even let us in ?
On flip side restricted parks might make crowds easier and parks nicer? !

Deposits are with disney and universal direct so hopefully if we decide to pull out we might get a date change Gonna stay brave for another week and then see where the world is at.

we've booked and paid for Disney and Universal from 22 oct - 5 nov. We've booked BA flights separate its all DIY. If Disney doesn't open by then I'm sure the flights will not go ahead and hope for a full refund on everything. that's the thing im most worried about as its a lot of money...over 8 grand.
But I am very hopeful that by Oct/Nov things will be under control and if not were all screwed anyway! If we cant go this year I will probably take a refund and keep it for a house deposit.

Booked in for start of September having originally been going in May, keeping everything crossed that things will be back to a semi-normal state by then
