Has anyone actually received any money back from Disney?
We cancelled our April trip last week and received an updated email showing the negative balance the same day.
But, has anyone actually had their money back on their card yet? I’m wondering how long it takes as obviously it’s a lot of money which we’d like to get back into our accounts! Also, how long did your booking take to come off MDE. Mine is still showing on there so can’t proceed with our magic band refunds as it still looks live... Thanks |

I’d like to know this too! I cancelled 2 weeks ago yesterday so 11 working days and still not seen the money back in our account, I paid the balance on debit card and deposit on credit card so not actually sure which one will get refunded.
Our booking on MDE disappeared after about a week I think. Still have our villain after hours tickets showing but that also hasn’t been refunded yet. Edited at 11:48 AM. |

I have had a full refund and it was in my account within the week. They even gave me the £50 amendment fee back for changing room type

I emailed and received an immediate reply of acknowledgment then two days later confirmation that I would get a full refund. The email said it would take 1-2 billing cycles dependent on your bank. I’ve currently received a refund in my bank if the two after hours parties I booked on my debit card. I paid the original hotel booking on my debit card and the rest on my credit card and haven’t received either yet and it’s been two weeks. I think 1-2 billing cycles means 1-2 months but can’t work out why I got the after hours back within a few days!

I cancelled by e-mail on 23rd March and had deposit plus amendment fee back in the bank on 25th and 27th March as paid from different accounts, Nationwide was quicker than HSBC. Email used was disneytraveluk@disneyonline.com
Still waiting on Discovery Cove refund which was also cancelled on the 23rd.

What happens with pre ordered magic bands with a pattern you picked & paid extra for? I'm guessing they just bin them & you lose that?
