We live in North Shields so about 25 mins away from Beamish and with our yearly pass go probably every 3 weeks ( you pay once and don't need to pay again, it was only £44 for2 adults and one child). We love where we live, on the edge of the north yorkshire moors, and will certainly be going for walks there once its all over. Blakey topping was going to be our first walk this year!
We love the lake district also & should have been spending this last week there for DWs birthday.
DW can't wait for some retail therapy in york though! HAHA

Part of my bucket list for this year were several things that I still hope to do! All related to walking & camping. I want to do my first wainwright, climb catbells (so could be 2 in 1 there!) & first wild camp. I chose these as there's a website that sells old fashion patches to sew onto your jacket/pack & these were the first 3 patches I bought.
The wild camp would hopefully be included within my first every long disntace walk, hadrians wall!

We have never been to the Lake District, so we want to explore that area. We live in Kent an hubby and DD work in London, so it will be nice to get away from it all. I would also like to return to Suffolk as we had a fantastic staycation there last year in Thorpeness.

Cornwall. We went last year but only had one warm day. It rained a lot. I’d love to go back when the sun is shining!
