We are booked through Netflights and have heard nothing. Until we get something in print from them we can't cancel any part of our holiday
Ditto 😐

I contacted Virgin via WhatsApp yesterday. I got a reply saying I can change dates or be open ended until April 30th 2021 (and have to pay any difference) I had asked for the refund. I’ve replied saying I cannot rebook within that timescale as already have an Orlando holiday booked with them in August. It’s within 14 days of the flight and they’ve cancelled. What are my chances?

Then they should refund, that’s what I will more than likely be wanting. I’m starting to think things won’t be ok in September which is the only other time we could go.

Thank you. I re read that when I got the reply. I’ve paid for seats in the bubble too and it was reward flights so the air miles need refunding too. Although I think the air miles may become irrelevant if VA go bust!

I text them yesterday asking for a full refund and they replied today saying it would take 90 days to process but it will be done. We were due to travel in just under 3 weeks.

That’s really good, isn’t that outside of the current guidelines not to travel? Suprised they have auctioned this as they technically didn’t have to as flight won’t have been cancelled yet.

Tempted to try for my flights on the 2nd May now
