We've just has a dark grey Victorian tile lino put down instead of the wood pattern line that was down when we moved in and its really warmed the look up

That's a great idea! Nothing beats actually seeing how a colour works with the light, shape and size of a room.

Also, the flooring you posted and the wooden shelves would warm up white -- but that's just my perspective. I'm probably biased because I like white as a kind of brightening 'neutraliser', with other textures (like wood, basket, fabric) to soften.

Otherwise, maybe a very pale, dusky teal or equally pale, dusky, creamy yellow? (It's difficult to describe colours in words! )

I have dusted fondant in my bedroom and it’s very purple/pink compared the the colour chart.
What about the dulux colour of the year ? We have it in ds’s bedroom it’s called Tranquil dawn, looks really nice with grey

It really is , never been a green fan but we wanted something lighter that wasn’t yellow!
