Flight upgrade prices change?

I've booked with virgin via netflights and my booking is showing up on my virgin account/app but there is is no option for upgrades is this because i booked via a third party does anyone know?

It may be that your ticket isn't eligible for an upgrade or that there aren't any.

I’ve downloaded the app but can’t see where I can upgrade - could be that it’s not an option but can someone crop a screenshot to clarify where it is in the app?

Booked Virgin with Netflights in 2018 and was given an upgrade option on the app. It comes and goes and prices change. I upgraded to Economy Delight for extra legroom on flight home for £60pp.

My app shows it on the home screen but only for the inward journey, not showing for outward journey and that's because it's booked up for the outward.

It might be because there's no availability for your whole party. Have a look on your seat map and see what's not crossed out.

If you are looking at your booking on the App (not website) and there is an option to upgrade it's really obvious (you won't miss it) so if you haven't got one it's because there are currently no upgrade options (this can change at any time) or your ticket isn't an upgrade possible ticket (which is quite a lot of tickets)

For anyone hoping for a £100 upgrade outbound you have no chance, firstly someone would have snapped their arms off at £250 so it wouldn't be free and secondly the luxury tax on the PE or UC seat means that the airline would be paying some of the taxes to have you sitting in that seat, they generally shy away from this...

Ah I guess I have a ticket that isn't eligible then if I click the bid for an upgrade option it says its not available too.

I only really wanted the upgrade on the way home and looking at current seat maps the flight is pretty empty so I just assumed it would give me the option.

I will keep checking though just in case one pops up, we don't go until 19/08 so there's plenty of time.

You can use the text messaging service and ask that way for the upgrade, , first time I did it there was no upgrade available, 2nd time she gave me a price to upgrade.
