We are returning in May in the bubble. Probably the first and last time we will be in it. At least we get to experience it before it goes.

It was much before they added Economy on the virgin planes, (still have no idea why they did add them though)

We had it booked for us as part of a return from a transatlantic cruise , and actually I looked to see if I could move my PE seats downstairs as I don’t really fancy it.
But there were no seats left in PE to change to. So at least we will have tried it once.

The bubble is much quieter and feels like you are special as there are less seats.

I will miss it, have done upper in the bubble and PE.

The A350 is indeed a lovely aircraft.
Certainly not impressed with the reduced seat width in PE so only about half to 1 inch wider than economy but with fixed sides! Bet they’re not reducing the price proportionately!

I hope its an A330 for the manchester orlando route as I would hate the 3 3 3 seat config ..much prefer the 2 4 2 so you don't have to bother or sit with a stranger for 9 hours

I agree with others that the A350 is a lovely aircraft. they pass by the office window everyday and just like when the A380 started they catch your eye, especially those wing tips. however I haven't really found that refits or newer cabins are more comfortable than on older aircraft. the opposite in fact. the points guy did a review of BA's A350 offering in economy and want too impressed. thepointsguy/reviews/b...-a350-economy/

I carnt see them doing anything but the 3 3 3 on the a350. I cannot see how they can get another seat in the middle. Even with reducing the seat widths. The alley is already tight apperently.

They are beautiful planes but like in most case are let down by the choices inside which is mostly down to the airline. If I'm being honest tho, if your wanting a seat of 4, ba 777's with the brand new cabins are probs a better option from Gatwick. And most likely cheaper than vrigin too

Upperclass seat width will be less than the old premium seat width which is pretty shameful. I’m not a fan of Virgin, never have been and our last trip with them in November was one of the most unpleasant flights we’ve had. The crew, service and food in PE was dreadful and our next trip in February will be the last if it hasn’t improved. Unfortunately I fly from Manchester and there is no competition to keep them on their toes.

KLM is scheduling its final 747 flight too. Sad to see these beauties go.
