SUV Fuel economy

Considering either Standard or Full size SUV. Anyone got any knowledge of how much fuel difference between both sizes.
Just wondering if Full size SUV would use lots more fuel

In reality the relative low price of fuel makes it fairly irrelevant in cash terms between the 2 groups.
Expect just under 20 for full size and just over 20 for standard.
So small amount per mile.
( us gallon)

I had a kia suv last year..was 3litre petrol according to clock done about 21 mpg.
21 days driving all over place between parks and shops and a long trip to west coast. 34 dollars to fill up once and 30 dollars another time. My jeep at home cost me 85 pound to fill up!
Going again in november.. going for a full size suv.. only 40 pound more to hire at dfch..used previous..great service.
The petrol cost is so cheap compared to the rest of the holiday.. not worth worrying about. Laughed all the way to the kiosk filling it up! Cried all the way to the Tesco checkout on way back from airport! Just pick the vehicle you want for whatever reason, Size v price depending on deal. Dont let the price of petrol concern you. Enjoy the drive!

Just avoid the rip off petrol station just before the Vineland outlets

Actually I like the OPs thinking. If doing a lot of driving, a full size SUV can be expensive, even with the cheaper cost of Gas. I had a Tahoe on my last trip that drank fuel at an avg of 15 mpg. Must have put over $200 in it over a 14 day period.

We have a Ford Edge and have put in $60 over 2 weeks and still got a pretty full tank. We’ve been put every day, up to BG twice and back to the airport today. I think that’s pretty good going
