We have a bottle or 3 of Asti with Christmas Day lunch as most of our family find Champagne too dry. I love champers but Asti is very more-ish too.

I don’t like Aldi gin. The fruit gins from Wilkins (the jam people) are delicious and in winter I drink them neat as an aperitif or liqueur.

M&S mulled wine is also very more-ish !

I make hot chocolate with cherry brandy. It always feels like christmas when I have one 👍

Cotswold Distillery have their own version which is even nicer 😋

OH always buys a few different gins and way too many cans of tonic at Christmas (I’m sure we still have a case of Mediterranean tonic in the cupboard from last year!) but I think I only really like a gin and tonic in summer 🤔
Red wine is my winter drink
Love the Cotswold ‘Baileys’

Crack open a Bucks Fizz mid morning as the dinner is cooking, Asti and/or more Bucks Fizz with dinner, some kind of Baileys type drink will be in the fridge for later too

Chocolate liqueur ... not fussed if it’s baileys or Aldi. A slug of amaretto in my morning coffee is also very nice

Out of interest how do you drink gin in the winter. Still with tonic and lots of ice or something else a bit “warmer” ?
I still have tonic, but with the Candy Cane one (got it for my niece) I think it would be nice with lemonade too.

Arran Gold - better than Baileys and Christmas morning wouldn't be the same without a Snowball or 3 while we are opening presents.
