Just to get back on track! I have eaten at that Denny's when DD had a doctor's appointment nearby. It is all the way east in Kissimmee almost in St Cloud. it isn't somewhere most Dibbers would be anywhere near unless they stopped on the way to Wild Florida.

Seems a lot of hassle to me especially when you can buy a tin of Baxters for 50p if they have an offer on.

Thinking about it I doubt we have soup more than twice a year. Probably us I know but can't see what the interest is in soup.
Chicken stick made from Carcass of Sunday roast, lamb and pork the same

Left over veg used for soups

Chunky homemade bread

Easy least and I can guarantee it tastes better than baxters:🤣

Last weeks soup was butternut squash with turmeric

Hubby makes soup all the time, really easy and no hassle at all . And far better than anything out of a tin .

I have just made mine and it took five minutes to chop the veg, then it sat in the pan simmering for 20 minutes, done and ready to eat and enough for three or four days or I can freeze a batch .
How do you make your lentil soup Linda is it just lentils ? I add lentils to my veg soup sometimes but I have never had lentils on their own .

That sounds easy peasy, I used to buy Heinz lentil soup but find tinned soup gopping now .

Sometimes I'll use a ham shank but more often than not it's just Knorr stock cubes. My favourite soup is Goulash though lol preferably up a mountain in Austria 😁

I suspect contracting Hepatitis from just eating out is a pretty rare occurrence. As long as they tell somebody about having it and wash their hands really thoroughly I guess.

Oh, and I've never made my own soup, but if I eat tinned stuff, it must be Heinz. Especially for cream of tomato.
