Sangria and a tray of crisps.Benalmadena. Nov 21. Day 5, Braving the pool and Malaga light show.

Tuesday 30th November.

Index
A relaxed start to the day, did our usual of pottering before going down for breakfast.

Matt and I then headed out to try and find some alcohol miniatures, after walking for a while without success we just went to the supermarket nearby.

We saw on a bus stop the timetable to Malaga, they were still running so don’t know why the stop near us wasn’t showing the times.
This is cardiac hill to get to our hotel. 🤣

Tracy and I had said about braving the pool today, first though we needed plenty of alcohol.
I love the honey rum here but today I discovered a spiced rum, I saw the name when I was looking at miniatures and recognised it from the bar.

After a few of these it was time to go in.

It was absolutely freezing, we didn’t stay in for long and the lifeguard was laughing after Tracey shouted out call for backup.
It was the hottest day though and soon warmed up in the sun.
We had a little snack before getting ready.

We took a taxi to the train station, €7 and the train to Malaga. These run regularly and only €10.25 for all of us (single)
It took about an hour and the weather was still good.

Paul wanted to visit a football shirt shop, it was over the marina and somewhere we hadn’t been before.

Lots of little stalls along the way and very Christmassy.

Paul bought 2 tops and we picked up replica of the winning England World Cup shirt for dds bf to put away for Xmas.
We took a slow walk back to the show.

The lights flash in time to music, only 3 songs but it’s so pretty and well worth a trip.

We walked back to the train station, which took about a 10/15 minutes. It wasn’t as busy or manic as the bus journey.

A taxi back to the hotel and in time for dinner.

I must have forgot photos as I’m pretty sure I had more than one plate. 🤣
Only had a few drinks as were flagging tonight.
