Tenerife next week - any advise on travel insurance

Hi guys

I’m thinking of going to Tenerife next Week. Travelling from Scotland, had all the jabs. Package holiday with TUI so if we test positive before departure we can change the holiday.

What travel insurance provider is everyone using incase they test positive whilst away? I’m looking for a provider to cover:
-extra hotel costs if i test positive whilst away
-extra cost to arrange flight after isolation is finished

I’m assuming all insurance would cover me if I was hospitalised because of covid under the medical section. Got a quote from staysure but it seemed very cheap & never used them before (normally use Post Office)

Only other risk I can see is having to extend my holidays at work if I’m not back as scheduled.

I have booked direct line this time. It was a bit more than I used to pay but the covid cover seemed quite comprehensive.

I think the Canaries government provide Covid cover should you test positive whilst there. Worth a Google.

Thank you. They are cheaper than my normal post office quote and do quite good covid cover. Thanks will add to the list for comparison
