New lights at Westside and Florence Grove

Lights finally going up at one of the most dangerous intersections!

This one was really needed with all the school kids crossing from new housing.

I saw on a parent's facebook group that they finally have the last part and they should be switched on very soon. Apparently the Electricity company were struggling to get what they needed.

Hi Donna

Last seen wrapped in black polythene in December. Should be working when we next drive down Florence Villa Grove Road in early May then?

I bet they won't have finished that row of houses opposite the school gates yet. I guess someone has gone bust?

No change on the houses.

Westside school just sent out a message about the Crossing guards having to work with the lights so turn on is finally happening.
