Do you still keep your park reservations when doing this?

I’m assuming no as the tickets are cancelled. I thought this would happen but have plenty of time till I go so park reservations shouldn’t be a problem.

You have a grace period to load new tickets on to your account before your reservations are cancelled, it is two days from memory.

But unless you're changing during a peak week at the last minute, you won't have any issues rebooking them.

Another update. Got lots of emails today from Disney telling me as my original park tickets were cancelled I had until tomorrow to link a new ticket or I would lose my park reservations.
Luckily Attraction Tickets emailed me my new ticket numbers so therefore I haven’t lost any park reservations!
Though I am going to change a few as I now have 18 days to use my 14 day ticket over so I’ve got more flexibility for my 3 week holiday.

We were thinking of adding the genie plus option at £96 to our tickets for our 14 day holiday in may
We will probably do the parks for 10 days so would just about break even
Then I thought as we go in May it may not be over busy and we normally go early anyway
Decided to see how we get on in the first 2 days to gauge if it's worth buying for remainder of park days.
We are staying at okw so may get a few rides later in the day when others can't ride

Please note that you can only add on Genie+ for £96 for the 14 day tickets whilst here in the UK before you go.

Once you're over there then it'll be $15+tax per day (about £12 a day).

We had the 14 day Ultimate tickets for next summer booked. I called Disney today and had to change to the 14 day Magic tickets and pay the upgrade for Genie+. Worked out around £117 per person difference for 14 days. is it worth it - I'll tell you next August!
