Cook cocktail sausage in oven 180 fan for 10-15 mins. When done add a couple tablespoons of honey and some sesame seeds. Nice hot or cold. There are variations of this on google. Very tasty.
A Christmassy version of sticky sausages

Heat the oven to 180C
Place the cocktail sausages in a roasting tin and into the hot oven - cook for 15 minutes.
Remove the sausages from the oven - tip them into a bowl with 1/2 jar of cranberry sauce and mix well to coat them.
Tip hem back into the roasting tin and put them back into the oven for 15-20 minutes or until cooked through properly and the cranberry marinade should be sticky and delicious!
Add a pinch of chilli flakes over the sausages
Leave them to cool slightly then tip into bowls for serving with a little pile of cocktail sticks.

Another idea I have just seen is to use cubes of cheese and grapes to set out to look like a Christmas Tree

A couple of years ago I did the Christmas Tree cheese and grapes...

So easy to do, chunks of cheese in rows alternating with grapes.

Some great ideas here. Love the idea of the sticky sausages. I also did mini toad in the hole, cocktail sausage in an individual Yorkshire pudding. They went down really well, top right in the photo.

We had charcuterie and cheese today, with a soda bread loaf I made. I got some rosemary from the garden, but it was was bit twiggy, so this is my beat copycat of your lovely wreath.

Thank you for sharing your wreath photo as it did prove inspirational 😊

Abby, that all looks amazing! I just used pics from Pinterest for my inspiration, I’m so pleased that you found it helpful. Bonus points for making soda bread! 💝😍 xx

its not a christmas/new years party without a croquembouche, slow cooker full of pulled pork, and cocktails made from chucking a vienetta into a blender with a load of booze!

oh, and vodka jelly shots

Hot crab dip sounds fab too. 😁
on a related note, the 'seriously strong' extra mature cheese spread with a little bit of hotsauce mixed in is *so* good
