That’s sucks for sure, I’ve been there. The best advice I have is to keep pushing forward, do things you enjoy doing and if going to our happy place Orlando is what you enjoy. Then do that too. Plenty of people with lots of life experience here to chat too, welcome anytime to message me.

Thanks everyone for your messages and offers to PM. I might take you up on it yet! I can’t talk to my only friend about it because….
Think the worst.

Anyway I will move forward and plan a holiday for next year. Solo cruise or Disney stay safe in the bubble.

Sorry not posted on my old name there were clues to location.

Thanks again it’s helped reading the messages.

Well done for reaching out. Writing it down I imagine being a help. Can't feel what you do but there is always support somewhere, sometimes in the strangest places. Day at a time

So sorry to hear this. I separated years ago - my choice but brought on by his lies and betrayal - despite trying I couldn’t rebuild what had been lost.

Time will heal and you will be happy again. Give yourself time, don’t put presssure on yourself; it will undoubtedly be one step forward, two steps back but the good days will eventually outweigh the bad.

Give yourself permission to do whatever you need to do to get through these next days, weeks and months. Do not discount your hurt and mostly, get in touch with someone if you need to chat, shout or cry.

Feel free to PM.

Sending hugs 🤗

Fingers crossed in the future you’ll see me popping up asking for advice. On solo trips I’m afraid
Feh, I remarried at 58. You never know what the future may bring.
Yes things will get better (impossible as it feels right now) and you’ll even smile and enjoy life again. It’ll be a different normal but you will move on and life will be good again.
The aftermath of a split is horrible and other than grit your teeth there’s not much else you can do but things do look brighter quicker than seems possible right now.
Sending a hug .

Im really really sorry to hear this. Ive been through this five times. All my decisions, but still hard at the time. It honestly does better. The last one took me 6 months to get my mojo back ( was Nov 2020) and you can see from my posts that at age 56 Im now working in number six over in Arizona.

I travel the world on my own. I love travelling and doing exactly what I want, when I want without pleasing someone else ! I’m currently sitting on a cruise ship on my own, chilling on the Dibb, sipping a cocktail

Chin up chick ! Take time to grieve what could have been etc and to get over the hurt etc and you will move forward with your life. Disney is waiting for you ! Mickey Mouse never leaves us. Hugs xx

Thanks everyone. There’s some strong wise people on the Dibb.

I am a strong woman just having a wobble.

On the plus side I hear the divorce diet is highly recommended!

You may get a new thread shortly about my weight loss ha ha

Oh yes I highly recommend that part.

I don’t recommend the weight gain that comes with contentment though. 🤣

I don't have much personal advice to give but just a big virtual hug to you.
Take each day as it comes, make sure you eat and look into hobbies to find yourself and enjoyment out of life again x
