Sad news. Bat Out of Hell is part of the musical soundtrack of my life - I still listen to that album regularly over 40 years after I first heard it. RIP Mestloaf.

Such a shame! DDIL and I were so lucky to get free tickets from an NHS ballot to see Bat Out of Hell Musical in 2018.
We had fab seats in the front stalls and Meatloaf himself was actually sitting in the box right above us. The cast acknowledged and applauded him at the curtain call.

So sad. A true legend, one of a kind performer who I never managed to see live sadly.
I think there may be a few Bat songs blasted out later in the Wolf household. Heaven can wait Meat, keep on rocking |
