Mobile Buying park tickets in dollars

Advice , as I’ve seen the $ exchange rate getting better can anyone advise me how I would buy park tickets in $ ?
I’m not travelling until next year and have seen some early prices of £705 for combo tickets which seems quite steep.
Any advice on when best to buy and which way to go with payment.

P.s this group is fab I’ve picked up so much information in the short tome I’ve been here 😁

There are a number of ticket advertisers who price in both £ and $. We check both prices and go for the cheapest option. If we are paying in dollars we use a Post Office credit card. This gives us a Bank of England exchange rate and no commision fees.

As to when to buy, try and get in before annual increases, exchange rate wise, your guess is as good as mine. We've been waiting in the hope it gets better and really should take the plunge as we go this year.

Find a ticket website that sells tickets in dollars and then buy them in dollars using a credit card, preferably a card that has zero foreign transaction fees.

Orlando Attractions is a good example of a ticket seller that sells tickets in dollars. They have an office in the UK and so will send them in the UK post free of charge. As well as selling the usual UK 14 day tickets, Orlando Attractions also sells 2, 3, 4, (etc) day tickets.

So, for example, a 14 day Disney Ultimate ticket currently costs $485 on Orlando Attractions. The Visa/Mastercard exchange rate is almost $1.41 to the £ at the moment if you have a zero fee card. Therefore, this equates to £344 for the 14 day ticket, which is cheaper than most other ticket sellers.

you can buy park tickets in dollars on orlandoattractions.com. We use them every year and we can't rate them highly enough. You get real tickets and they are dispatched quickly.

I just booked our Universal tickets today with them and paid in dollars. I paid using my Halifax Clarity credit card as there is no transaction fee with them for converting the dollars to pounds. The universal tickets we got were selling for £220 per adult but by paying in dollars instead it meant we got them for £211 a ticket
