Deposit

Hi all,

How does paying a deposit off with WDW work? Can I pay it off as I go online, or can you only put down the initial deposit online and then call up each time you want to pay off a bit more?

You can only pay the full amount online, if you want to pay in instalments you have to call them up.

I called them every month to make a payment it will only allow you to pay the whole balance on-line.

Ahhh that's a shame! Oh well!

On my first call to put my first instalment down, do I need to ask them to upgrade my meal plan? I want to stay moderate and upgrade from free Disney Dining quick service to the standard plan and paying the extra amount to do that.

Yes when you call them tell them you want to upgrade to the full dining and they will do that for you. When I called a few months back I booked Keys to the Kingdom tour and they did that for me.

You can do it all online as well, I booked a moderate with tickets and upgraded to the DDP from QSDP online & paid deposit. Was really easy as phone lines were really busy the day I booked

It's a freephone number so pretty easy to call and make a payment. I've done it a few times with no hassle, usually straight through to an operator, if not, listening to the Disney music really gets you in excited Disney mode
