Just got a nice little bargain paying in dollars

We have been trawling ticket sites since we booked our flights at the start of the month. With us getting close to that time of year when the prices go up we decided today was the day to get our Universal 3 park explorer tickets booked.

All the main ticket sites seem to have deals on this weekend but once again orlandoattractions.com has come out the cheapest.

An adult ticket, if paying in £'s costs £220.46 this weekend (last week it was £227.25). With the stronger exchange rate we decided to pay in dollars this year using our Halifax Clarity card. This means it was $302 per adult ticket and the amount we will pay is £213 a ticket instead.

Using this trick it means that the ticket has worked out cheaper than the current deals we could get on orlandoattractiontickets, florida tix or attraction tickets direct.

Thought it was worth a share in the event anyone else is looking to book tickets this weekend.

There is a box at the top of the page that lets you choose the currency you wish to pay in.

I've just checked my credit card account and it turns out each ticket is coming out at £211 and not £213 as I had worked out.

I did this last week. Saved about £5 per ticket on the 2 day park to park. Arrived within a few days too.

Oh wow! I just booked our tickets last week with OAT at £580. They had a sale over the weekend for 5% off but wouldn't let me get the lower price after I contacted them. I have looked it up on orlando attractions and with the current rate I'd be paying about £552 if I pay in dollars! Even with losing the £10 deposit I think it seems to work out cheaper to cancel my tickets and book them on here
