AutoEurope - Any good?
Hi
I'm going in May for 2 weeks, flying in to Sanford and have found this price online. Via Moneymaxim.co.uk then AutoEurope - Alamo Full size - Nissan Altima £390 Usual CDW, 1 million LSI Tyres, glass, underside cover Gold Cover (inc full tank, additional drivers) I'd prefer to go with Alamo as they get the best reviews and this price seems very good as it includes free Gold cover. But, has anyone used AutoEurope before, who am I actually dealing with here, is it them or Alamo? Many thanks |

I booked a couple of years ago with Auto Europe - Alamo, they were absolutely fine. Once the booking was made & paid for I was able to do the online check-in and skip the queue. I never had any queries regarding the hire but If you need to make any amendments, you'll need to contact Auto Europe.

We've used them in Europe and have been please with the price. Maybe North America is different, but in Europe, the top up insurance I.e. the zero excess option is a separate insurance type policy, meaning you have to decline the hire companies extra CDW, and if you do have a scrape, you have to pay the excess to the hire company and claim on this separate policy.

Good price. Nearest I can get is with Virgin as a stand alone hire with Alamo, 2 drivers for 2 weeks in May £424.78.
Don't bother checking Brits. Auto Europe are a 3rd party supplier. Shouldn't be any issues.

Have used Auto Europe for nine out of our last ten visits and they have been excellent.
In reality, you order through them, get your confirmation email, then deal with Alamo. Great price and great service |

Have used Autoeurope for our last 2 visits and we are using them again this year.
Can’t fault their service. We always use Alamo through them and have never had a problem. It is worth getting booked in at that price and then keeping an eye on the price as you can sometimes find that the price drops. Go to manage booking and then create a bookmark to that page. When you click on it go to amend booking and click on choose different car. It will then give you latest prices including any offers they have on. If it’s cheaper, select it and they refund the difference. We started at £400 this year for full size 17 days in May. We now have it at £325. Great but not as good as last year when we got a premium at £326 for 19 days! |

Do you need the extra driver package?, as it’s only £327 for the 1 driver package. If you don’t need them then the tank of fuel is costing you £63.
Other than that I’ve used Auto Europe a few times with no problems at all. Have you looked at Netflights, Fullsize with Alamo is £296 for 1 driver or £353 for 4 drivers and free tank of fuel. Edited at 10:32 PM. |
