Mobile Mustang vs Camaro space

We have paid for a convertible car. There is four of us 3 adults and one child. Just seeing what people think if it’s going to work for space mainly for the people in the back. We have hired a mustang before there was only three of us the two adults one child but I really can’t remember the space in the back. Any help please

We had a Camaro, our children were 5 and 7, plus us two, there was boot space for our 2 larges cases...just, it was pretty snug lol, but pretty cool!

Thanks I was a little worried about the leg room in the back behind the seats. We have now made the decision to take soft troll style luggage instead of the hard cases we normally use.

We have had both Cameros and mustangs. Last year we had 3 adults in the Camero , me being in the back and I manage quite well with a 6 hour drive 😳. Luggage was a problem though we couldn't fit 3 cases in the boot so I had one next to me. A very tight squeeze. We felt there was much more room in the mustang boot and would have one again if 3 of us. For the 2 of us it would definately be another Camero. Much more fun

Rented a Camaro over there, bought one when back home... Fair enough, both fifth gens, and the sixth gen should be in the fleets by now, but as a family of three it serves us well.
On the (few) occasions I've had adults in the back, I'd say it's fine for short /medium hops (less than an hour?), though wouldn't like to be in the back for a very long time.
Trunk space in the sixth gen is smaller than Camaro 5, but I think the passenger compartment is similar.

Thanks. I think we might just squeeze in. We are using soft troll cases and we are really only using the car to and from the airport one with just the cases and then to and from parks. Only long journey we have planned is Clearwater. Haha am sure it’s going to be fun and games trying to fit everything and everyone in haha

For the airport run, you lose a lot of trunk space to stow the roof - so may need the roof up for that. From your post above about your family's heights, you'll have no worries

Great thank you. Think we are hoping for the camero as we have had a mustang before.

Having been in both the Mustang is defiantly is to live with for luggage space inside especially as your group is more than 2.
However the Camero is so much more fun as a driving experience.
If only 2 people the cameros rear seats have a sliding function to allow more space for luggage.
Enjoy.
