Planning a first trip with my kids!
Hi,
I'm here to start trying to plan a trip with my partner and kids. I've been to Orlando three times, twice staying in villas in the late 1980s and the last time (in 1998) staying on site at WDW Polynesian resort. I also used to live in LA as a kid and have been to Disneyland lots of times. Kids have been to DLP in 2017 and 2014, so are excited to go "the big Disney in America" although we haven't yet told them a date, just that we will be going there in the next few years. I'm looking at end August/beginning Sept 2019 (I know weather will be rocky but my three previous trips were around this time of year). Ideally I'd like to stay onsite at WDW and then a couple of nights at RPR. Undecided about whether to do anything outside Orlando or not yet. I have a daughter with terrible car sickness so not keen on doing tons of driving! Anyway, happy to finally have joined the forum and start properly planning! Clare |

Hi Clare,
So many really helpful people on here who know everything! Happy planning! Do you have an idea of which hotel you’d like to stay at? We’ve done Port Orleans Riverside, Saratoga Springs and Old Key West... Saratoga being our favourite ❤️

No I don't. Prior to the work was thinking of CBR, but now see likely to still have construction going on next year. Port Orleans is one I have thought about, haven't considered OKW or Saratoga, will have a look at them, thanks.
Polynesian was amazing, but probably a little too pricey I think! |
