Mobile So how do you tip the people who service and clean your hotel room?

So how do you tip the hotel cleaning staff? Some say every day, some say all at the beginning and some say all on last day 🤔 (if it helps to know we will be staying at Cabana Bay)

Thanks

I tip every day. The cleaning staff don't work seven days a week, so if you tip just once during the holiday or per week then the person who normally cleans your room might be off that day and not receive the tip.

A couple of dollars each day as the staff change shifts etc.
That way each member of staff gets their share

I tip each day they come in by leaving 2-3 dollars on a table/etc (where it's fairly obvious that it's a tip).

If I choose not to have housekeeping then won't tip except on the last day!

$1 pp per day, left with a note, so they know it's for them.

Always leave $1 / €1 /£1 per person a day when in a hotel. I normally write a little note to say thanks.

I'm the same as the others, two to three dollars a day for two of us.

We have laminated cards with 'thanks, housekeeping' on that we use from year to year.

DH is against tipping, as he believes it should be including in their wages, so I have to sneak a couple of dollars on the table as we leave our room for the day.
I tend to leave 2 dollars per day.

I have never tipped housekeeping in a hotel. Nor have I ever met anyone that has. And I am very well travelled for business and work as are most people I know. Only place I have even heard of this custom is on this website. I expect the thread will be closed soon.
