Uber - tried it for the first time last night...

Thought I would try it out locally here before using it over in Orlando next April and I have to say I was incredibly impressed!

It was so easy to use. I could also text my DH to say I was on the way home once the uber had collected me and he tracked the car bringing me back. The added bonus was it was a free ride so I didn't pay a penny.

Yes I did see it. Naively or not I'm always happy to accept that as a risk factor with any online service. It happens to even the biggest companies (ebay about 18 month ago for example), but it doesn't stop me using them.

However, you have full rights to say 'told you so' if I come back here next April moaning about being hacked though

I suspect that in the bigger picture it's just a one off glitch. I have been caught some years ago with Amazon but spotted it in time so it is always a risk linking a Card.

I wont say - 'told you so' as I'm sure you will be fine.
