Driving to the keys, where to stop in between?

The plan so far for honeymoon next Sept:

Land in Sanford, drive to I-95 and stop off just south of Titusville at Fairfield Inn & Suites (possibly, there are a few hotels here at this junction). Stay one night and then drive down to Key Largo or Islamorada for our first stop in the Keys.

Now google maps says from Titusville hotel to Islamorada is average 4.30 hour drive. We would hope to take advantage of time difference and waking up early to get ahead on the road before most Floridians hit the roads for work. We may not bother with breakfast and just have a snack (planning to visit Target or Walmart near by hotel on night of arrival for road snacks) so about 2 hours into the drive we will want to stop off for proper food. Where can anyone suggest that doesn't deviate too far from the I-95 or, further south, the turnpike? I am sure there will be many chain places along the way to turn off at but any particular location that could be recommended as being safe, friendly and easy to find from main road?

Thanks

Port St Lucie has many eateries on the exit Boulevard. Exit 121

Thanks, think I have found where you mean. Seems like a good midway place. Cheers!

Hope this helps, we usually stop at Sebastian a bit earlier but it is not as convenient.

Just found a service plaza near here which I think would do us. It has EOS and a Wendy's which we both enjoy. Somewhere to use the loo and have a little rest. Thanks for bringing the area to my attention!
