Memory Maker Comfusion

Didnt have MM last time i went so unsure how it all works.
I have linked my tickets to MDE and when i view my tickets it says
"14-Day Disney's Ultimate Ticket (with Memory Maker for Adult ticket only)
Tickets: Park Hopper + Water Park Fun And More
Age: 10 and older"

But when on page disneyworld.disney.go/plan/ i click the "view photos" under "Your memory maker photos" it takes to me a page with links to:-
add photo pass card
link ticket or pass
link magic bank
link memory maker

If i then select option 2 (ticket or pass) or 4 (memory maker) it prompts me to enter my ticket number, which it then says is already assigned.

What am i doing wrong, or have i done what i need to do?

You don't need to do anything. The photos automatically become available your first entry into a park.

The "link memory maker" part is for those who bought their Memory Maker

if you have a UK ticket it's already included, so you didn't buy it, hence no linking
as long as the tickets are there, you're good to go

Magic Bands can be purchased by offsite guests. They start at $15ish for the regular band
you only need one per "ride vehicle" if you need the pictures to be automatically added
For 7DMT a "ride vehicle" is a set of 4 seats. If a party is split between 2 carriages on the same train, they'll need one band in each carriage.
hope this makes sense.

I think if you have a magic band you just scan your band and your photo goes on (it somehow knows which photo is yours) but if you dont have a band you need to queue and pick out your ride photo and have it scanned to you ticket? I think thats right, but I'm not 100% sure

MagicBands and Memory Maker are two different things. MagicBands are like the plastic tickets in the form of a bracelet - you use them just like tickets to get into the park. Memory Maker gives you the ability to download the photos linked to your Disney account.

Not quite.

With a MagicBand ride photos are (usually) automatically linked to your account after the ride - you don't need to do anything.

With a plastic ticket, you scan the ticket underneath the screen showing your photo at the end of the ride. Its simple and there's no queuing - although it can be a bit busy around the screens when everyone is trying to see their photo.
