We always allow a day for Harry Potter. Then a day in each Universal Park. So 3 days in total. But it does depend on wether you're a big Harry Potter fan or not.

So now I'm looking again.

Thanks everyone for your replies, for us the prices are £724 for 14 day tickets and £595 for 2 days ... So not a massive difference but I'm thinking we could put it towards something else.

I think I might do a bit more research on what rides are actually there are watch some vlogs to give us an idea of what we want to do ... We are not big Harry Potter fans so guess that makes quite a difference?

Yes we always have the 14 day tickets and usually spend about 2 days there.
Last year the kids didn't even go they stayed with grandparents in Disney! So that was a waste of money buying them tickets.

We love Harry potter but 2 days is enough. We've given it a miss this time due to ticket prices though.

We only normally do 2 days and find it enough but as it's bfs first trip there I've scheduled in a free choice day just in case he wants to go back! Really depends on how much you want to do. I'd still find evening shopping time just doing 2 days. Personally as it's only like £100 more I'd do the 14 day tickets just for the option.

If we are doing disney too then 2 days is enough for us. We get there early and miss Harry potter area. We get a lot of rides done first thing while majority head to Harry potter.

The base tickets don't get you on the Hogwarts Express. But then Is one ride worth an extra £40 each? It's a dilemma

Not much in it at all, think I worked it to less than £13 each to upgrade from a 2 to a 3 day. If you can afford the extra, opt for the 3 day for the added flexibility.

2 days should be enough to do everything though, last time we went for 4 but really took our time and had Express passes for 2 of them
