Discovery Cove alcohol upgrade charge?

Has anyone been to DC recently, just seen on FB that apparently if you want the frozen cocktails or anything other than basic Bud products now you have to pay a $25 upgrade fee per person?

The website still states that the Mango and the Pina Colada frozen cocktails are included.

The frozen cocktails are pretty weak so it wouldn't be worth it (in my opinion).

Checked the website for Food and Beverages and nothing appears to have changed and shows them as included.
Only comment is they are subject to change and availability which is normal to cover if they don't have stocks.
Think it might be Facebook fake news :-)!

The $25 upgrade is for the ultimate package isn't it? Are you sure it's not a misunderstanding?

Well I emailed them and this is the reply I got

Thank you for contacting Discovery Cove and Welcome Back!

It is true that we no longer offer a Complementary Park Entrance photo. So many guests did not pick them up at the end of the day that they were wasted product. We are currently taking entrance photos and offering them at a discounted price as a print or including them on the photo CD.

We still offer adult beverages (beer, wine, pina coladas, and daiquiris)in our All Inclusive package, however, we also offer an enhanced adult beverage package (rum and tequila beverages, imported and craft beer, and upper level wine)that is available for $25 + tax per person. This is not mandatory, but an option that we are offering.

Interesting. Thanks for posting the reply.
