Help Please... Bit Complicated Sorry!

Looking at getting Disney/universal combo tickets. Question is, do all the ticket companies send a ticket for Disney and a separate universal ticket?
Reason is, we are going 2 days before the rest of my family arrive and they are staying 14 nights but we are staying 18. I
was thinking we could hit a Disney water park and the beach before they arrive which will start the 14 days of Disney ticket then a few days in, do a universal park which will last us until after they leave so we could return to universal or volcano whichever we enjoyed most.

I believe you all have separate tickets for separate parks

Brilliant thanks. We've always got our tickets over there on the first day from a vendor just because historically my parents have scored really good discounts a freebies when dealing face to face lol! I've found out we will get better prices booking them here and we can make ADRs etc

There is no such thing as a Disney & Universal combo ticket. What these companies are doing is bundling together a Disney ticket and a Universal ticket and giving you a slight reduction in price for buying together. They're in no way linked to each other.
