ATD price guarantee
Hi we booked our UO tickets through ATD, paying deposit only with the guarantee that if prices fell then we would get the reduced price? Does anyone know how this works as when I log on to pay my balance it is showing the original price booked at rather than the current price which is less than we paid (it's only £27 which isn't a lot in the grand scheme of things but still better in our pockets..)

If I remember correctly, the original Win-Win offer stated that if the price was lower when you come to pay off your booking 6 weeks before your holiday date then you would pay the lower price at that time. I'm not sure whether it applied at any time before 6 weeks before your hols.
However, it looks like ATD no longer do the Win-Win offer on their website so I can't check. Whether that also means they no longer honour this offer now that its ended, I don't know. I think you'll have to contact ATD to confirm.

I just thought I would post to update with our experience of ATD's win-win offer.
Our tickets are due to be paid on Friday this week and I noticed at the weekend that ATD were offering adult tickets for the price of a child. That, coupled with the fact that the exchange rate has gone slightly in our favour since booking meant a saving of £52 over our original cost. I called ATD on Saturday and gave them our booking reference and explained I booked with the win-win offer and mentioned their current deal. The operative on the phone was very helpful and amended our price which I paid off in full over the phone. I think my tickets have arrived today as a package arrived whilst we were at work so I will go to the post office on Friday to collect them. All in all a positive experience. |
